“The natural park itself was really great and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. However, the whole experience was spoiled by a mother bringing along a three year old. The child screamed for the most part of the return journey. I understand the child was totally exhausted, but I do not understand a parent brings a three year old to a tour that takes over twelve hours and is exhausting even for an adult. As some parents seem to lack even a minimum of common sense, I would propose a minimum age limit of seven years for long tours.”

“Leaving from Split means a 2 1/2 to 3 hr hour ride to and from Split. It is important to leave Split very early to get in front of the crowds since you will be walking on boardwalks and moving by ferries to go between the lower and upper falls. The lines can be long. Plan on lots of steps and walking. We walked 20,000 steps. A better plan would to fly into the capitol of Croatia and drive down to Split, stopping at the Lakes on the way.”
